The Child Soldiers Initiative (CSI) is an innovative project created and led by Lieutenant-General the Honourable Roméo A. Dallaire (ret’d) to generate the global political will to eradicate the recruitment and use of child soldiers. CSI is conducting research, advocacy, training and capacity building.

Aegis works to prevent crimes against humanity worldwide- through research, policy development, education, raising awareness of genocide and mass atrocity issues in the media, and humanitarian support for victims of crimes against humanity.

The CEDAT is a Study Centre on Conflict, Violence and Coexistence, part of the University of Caldas located in Colombia, that seeks to develop research processes, social development and training of university students from the social context and reality of Colombia. As part of its development process the Center has woven an alliance with the ICBF (Insituto Colombiano de Bienestar Familiar) and IOM (International Organization for Migration) to implement the project “HOGARES TUTORES”, which serves children and teenagers from different regions of Colombia, who have been victims of forced recruitment by illegal armed groups in Colombia such as the guerrillas, paramilitaries and emerging groups.

DTJ_cmykDiscover The Journey  is a collective of artists, storytellers and  journalists who are speaking up for children in-crisis by exposing injustices affecting children around the world through story, media and art, and ensuring justice for children in-crisis by  advocating for intervention across cultures in Love.

The Grassroots Reconciliation Group (GRG) provides opportunities and helps heal former child soldiers and their home communities in northern Uganda. The ex-combatants join with community members to work on GRG projects such as communal farming, brick-making, and volunteering at counseling centers.

The Association for Youth Literacy and Trades Education is a registered Rwandan not-for-profit organization dedicated to reducing poverty and reinforcing unity and reconciliation in Rwanda. ASOLATE trains youth in employable skills, project management and cooperative organization, and raises awareness about HIV/AIDS.

TABISH Social health Education organization (TSHEO) is a non-governmental, non-political, and non profit humanitarian organization founded by a group of Afghans in 2007 to offer services to needy people, particularly women, children, disabled and other traumatized people in the areas of community based primary education, community mobilization and empowerment, developing local leadership, civil education, gender, children and women rights and drug awareness and addicts’ rehabilitation.
